Anything that involves making the most of the moments that add up to this gift of a game that we call Life.
For me, the preferred moments usually involve a combo of family, friends, live music, the sideline of a sport of some description, or a pair of running shoes and a beach or bush track. A tropical island (or a plane or road trip to any place I've never been before) always goes down a treat too!

If it felt too much like a job you wouldn't see me for dust. I'm part of the total sport team because I enjoy the challenge of adding value to the team, our event partners, customers and the business. The people here work hard and make me laugh (very important!) so I look forward to spending time with them plus there is a strong, mostly unspoken but essential thread that runs throughout the team in that we all share a common passion for total sport's reason for being i.e. delivering events that offer our people the opportunity to dine out on the particularly tasty "soul food" that's served up when they nail a personal challenge in the stunning Kiwi outdoors.
Quite a few! For the past 15 years I've coupled parenthood (definitely life's hugest gift and privilege in my eyes, not a 'job' at all) with managing my own business, Chain of Events - a marketing, sponsorship and events management consultancy. During that time I've also been committed to several voluntary roles in sports marketing/administration and educational governance. Actually I'm a bit of a volunteerism addict – volunteering has a way of capturing our energy and channelling it into what we're most passionate about. So it's no wonder that my most memorable client projects have involved a stunning corner of Godzone and a team of awesome, down-to-earth Kiwi volunteers who know how to work hard, play hard and have absolutely no idea of the meaning of the word "can't"!
