My sports interests include off-road & on-road running, swimming, playing tennis (badly) & boxing. I love taking part in the Total Sport events, and have been a big fan of the company long before I came to work here.
My other interests include listening to and playing music, experimenting in the kitchen, enjoying good food and wine, travel, and reading.
I love the problem solving aspect of my job here. Its exciting and gratifying to be able to make a difference to the operations of a company through the implementation of user-friendly and efficient financial systems.
The team here are great people and it really makes coming to work an absolute pleasure, plus there are not many workplaces where the view out the office window is a beautiful rural landscape, with a soundtrack provided by the resident Tuis and other native birds.
I work as a consultant/contractor under my company Fantail Finances, providing financial support for small to medium sized businesses. Its a great job as i get lots of variety and work in many different industries. Before I started this, i had a wine distribution company, and before that worked in hospitality and fashion.
After finishing High School in Christchurch I moved to Dunedin to studying towards a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology & Music.
In 2009 I completed a Post-Grad Diploma in Business, and am currently halfway through completing my Masters in Business (MBA), to be completed at the end of 2011.
